Halloween at the Beach...odd, but good. This beach is definitely a keeper. You drive right up to where you want to sit, it's free, relatively clean, not crowded, and the water is shallow and clear. Plus there are a ton of neat shells and coral to sort through.
Lots of kite-surfers at the other end.
Little Logan, is seriously too darn cute.
Below is he playing with Sylvia...she and her husband are from Ontario, just over the border from Buffalo, but have been in China for the past 5 years. Logan's mom is Kiwi, and his dad is British.
Again, this is a close-up. We had this whole section of beach to ourselves. Oh, and if you are ever near the equator, even if it's almost November, WEAR SUNSCREEN! I'm rather burnt at the moment.
Logan rockin' his shades. He's 19 months, and if his parents put a hat on him, he keeps it on. Same with sunglasses.
On Monday, we couldn't go to the beach due to a sandstorm. So instead, Sergey and I went to an amusement park inside one of the malls. Here he is on one of those things that rises up and then falls.
Sergey and I on the Ferris wheel.
Remember these horses that you could ride for a quarter outside Kmart or something?
Well, why not a camel??
Sometimes I am really stupid. This is us on the log flume....somehow I figured that since we were in a mall, it would be set up to not get us too wet....nope...soaked, and smelling like mildew. Eewww....
Up near the ceiling, in the middle, you can see feet hanging...that is Sergey. I didn't want him to ride that one, but let him make the choice. When he got off, he said something to the effect of "I should have listened to you."
We also did a 4D movie and a bunch of other rides. Strange to be in a mall, but better inside than out in this heat.

This was a close-up...Sergey was actually out quite far. |
